The Acer 11.6' Chromebook is pre-installed with the Chrome operating system, which uses apps to supply most features and functions, such as creating reports, playing games, browsing the Internet, and more. The majority of apps require online access for use but hundreds can also be used offline. The Chromebook's 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi allows you to download apps from the Chrome Web store and then use them.
