This beautifully crafted hunting knife is made of custom-made Damascus steel, created by forge welding multiple layers of steel into a solid block. The blade is folded and re-welded several times to produce several layers which create patterns of different styles. The acid added to the blade highlights the attractive layered pattern in the steel. The combination of layered hard and soft steel creates blade flexibility, toughness and produces invisible serrations on the blade that aid cutting.
The handle is full tang, made out of Buffalo Horn and Camel Bone, and features a beautiful brass guard, three brass pins spanning the blade, and two brass spacers, beautifully differentiating between the bone and horn. The spine of the blade is also beautifully file worked.
This knife comes with a genuine leather sheath with a belt loop on one end.
With a 4.5 inch blade length, total length of 9 inches, and a hardness of 55-60 HRC on the Rockwell scale, this is a must-have tool for any hunter or outdoorsman.
